HBCU BEMEI Internship

(Black Economic Mobility and Equity Initiative)

Foundational Purpose

Program Scope

HBCUs are not just institutions—they are sacred wells of Black genius, survival, and future-building.
They are where freedom dreams are structured, tested, and reborn. In this
season, they are called to help engineer the economic and intellectual scaffolding for our next 5
to 7 generations.

A. Fall, Spring, Winter Internship (11 Weeks)
Interns enter this initiative with three guides: their degree program, their
passion for Black communities, and their “superpower”—the gift that makes
them unique.

B. Summer Internship (9 Weeks)

Same as above, at the same time, this specialized summer cohort focuses on students majoring in financial literacy and economic mobility.

Collective Mission

Focused on financial literacy, technology fluency, and economic mobility, interns use AI,
CRM, and mapping to document, analyze, and design equity pipelines. Creating a
solution database to combat Project 2025, historical disparities, the school-to-prison
pipeline, the wealth gap, and systemic racism.
